Scegliereste lo stile minimal per arredare un attico moderno affacciato sul porto di Palermo? Si, se volete che l'unica protagonista sia la luce abbagliante del Mediterraneo, come succede nell'ultimo progetto realizzato dallo studio DiDeA, che ha ridisegnato gli interni di questo spazio abitativo all'insegna del minimalismo e dell'ergonomicità. Minimal sono infatti le scelte cromatiche, orientate sui toni neutri, dal grigio della pavimentazione in gres semilucidato, al bianco delle pareti. Gli arredi, realizzati su misura, consentono di organizzare al meglio spazio e funzioni nelle zone ad altezza ridotta: un contenitore nasconde un letto a scomparsa, e il lato interno di una passerella diventa un mobile libreria.Would you choose minimal style to furnish a modern penthouse overlooking the port of Palermo? Yes, if you want the only protagonist to be the dazzling light of the Mediterranean, as happens in the latest project by studio DiDeA, which redesigned the interiors of this living space under the banner of minimalism and ergonomics. The color choices are indeed minimal, oriented toward neutral tones, from the grey of the semi-polished stoneware flooring to the white of the walls. The custom-made furnishings allow space and functions to be optimally organized in the reduced-height areas: a unit conceals a fold-away bed, and the inner side of a walkway becomes a bookcase.
L'attico si articola su due livelli, il secondo dei quali mansardato. Gli architetti hanno scelto di eliminare parte del solaio tra il primo e il secondo livello, moltiplicando ampiezza e luminosità. Ingresso, zona living e zona notte occupano il primo piano, dove domina il legno di noce. Una scala diventa elemento volumetrico ed eccoci infine alla mansarda, anticipata da una passerella che appare sospesa sulla zona a doppia altezza, dove gli arredi su misura disegnati da DiDeA permettono di ottimizzare lo spazio, senza dimenticare la luce che filtra attraverso i grandi lucernari.The penthouse is arranged over two levels, the second of which is an attic. The architects chose to remove part of the floor slab between the first and second levels, multiplying spaciousness and brightness. Entrance, living area and sleeping area occupy the first floor, where walnut wood dominates. A staircase becomes a volumetric element, and finally we reach the attic, anticipated by a walkway that appears suspended over the double-height area, where the custom furnishings designed by DiDeA optimize space, without forgetting the light that filters through the large skylights.
